La sfarsitul cursului participantii vor putea purta conversatii scurte legate de familie, mediul inconjurator, etc. Vor putea relata evenimente din trecut, prezent sau viitor.

1. First meeting - Introduction.

Living in capital cities and relationships between parents and children
Revision exercises. Present simple/continuous; have/have got. Writing informal letters.

Two teenage geniuses - Past Simple regular/irregular verbs (questions and negatives). Prepositions

An interview with the biographer of Ian Fleming; Writing a story.
8. Describing places
Town and country - Two capital cities; For sale; The richest man in the world.
Comparatives and superlatives – have got - directions; What like?/Prepositions of movement.
9. In my life
Three amazing grandmas; Andrea de Silva / Paul Newman - actor, director, racing driver; Telephoning.
Present Perfect Simple/Continuous; homephones; Filling in a form.
10. Planning the future
The weather; Plans and ambitions; Desperately seeking someone. Going to/will; Infinitive of purpose suggestions, preparations verb patterns.
11. Problems with officials
A thank you letter; Paragraphing; Writing an envelope; Problem page; David the teenage tycoon.
Verb patterns – say and tell, multi – word verbs. Modal verbs – obligation noun suffices and word stress; make or do.
